You become an entrepreneur at a great cost. The fame and recognition that Elon Musk has garnered, come to him at a great personal cost. He pays for it by sacrificing his personal life.
In my opinion, that’s the only way you can run three massive companies. You cannot afford to have the “normal” personal life at all - the wife, the kids, the family, the relationships, the bonding.
He gave up on all of those without a thought - to invest his time and energy into his company.
As an Indian entrepreneur myself, and a woman at that, when we are constantly pulled down by the society’s expectation of marriage, housing, kids, etc, Elon Musk becomes my inspiration there.
